This directory contains the May 2005 assembly of the dog genome
(UCSC version canFam2) produced by the Broad Institute at MIT.
Files included in this directory:
chr*.fa.gz: compressed FASTA sequence of each chromosome.
Repeats (from RepeatMasker and Tandem Repeat Finder)
are in lower case while non-repeating sequence is in upper case.
May 3 2005 (open-3-1-0) version of RepeatMasker;
RepBase libraries: RepBase Update 9.11, RM database version 20050112.
md5sum.txt: checksums of files in this directory.

directory, we recommend you use ftp rather than downloading the files
via our website. To do so, ftp to hgdownload.cse.ucsc.edu, then go to
the directory goldenPath/canFam2/chromosomes. To download multiple files,
use the "mget" command:
mget <filename1> <filename2> ...

mget -a (to download all the files in the directory)
